bordertoborder.com
is the official home of Border To Border Expedition Society, a not-for-profit
organization dedicated to the promotion of Land Rover adventure travel, 4X4
experience and cameraderie. We are not a commercial outfit; something that
appears to be fairly unique among the many Land Rover adventure clubs,
expedition groups and societies that have appeared over the past couple of years
Each year the Society organizes at least one major travel adventure across North
America that brings people from all walks of life together to share the
exploration of exciting trails, breathtaking topography, achievements through
team work -- and an unforgettable experience! Those new to off-road driving will
gain responsible four-wheel-drive operational advice, and everyone benefits from
the safety of a group and our collective experiences in the more remote parts we
travel. Our trips also provide a chance to learn a little more about navigation,
vehicle recovery (guaranteed!), and advanced driving techniques. Take a moment
to read some journals from
previous trips to gain an insight of what we are all about.
Invicta
Land Rover Club, will be monitoring the event so keep checking this site
we will be publishing pictures and video clips.
Invicta Land Rover Club Drivers

Colin Huntlea
Not just a mechanic building
Rovers to order, but an off-roader of extreme
extraordinaire. Traveling through Europe finding that little challenge. He has
off-roaded in Spain, Cyprus, Poland, and the United Kingdom.
His specialty is deep water with petrol V8 engines, this could be something
to do with him also being a diver.

Richard Francis
A very experienced off-roader and
Rover car builder. If you're in it up to
your diffs with no way out, Richard finds a way. Like Colin and Stuart he
has driven the forests, mountains and rivers of Europe down as far as Russia
and the Slovak Republic.

Stuart Golder
A veteran of the first Border to
Border, He filmed the trip with a team of
camera operators. As a broadcast cameraman cooped up inside a TV studio all
day, he lets off steam in his 110 Station Wagon called GREEN MACHINE, he is
working on off-road routes in Wales, England, Poland, France and Spain for
like minded people to experience the culture and the drive. This time he will
drive the camera crew around, after all, he is on vacation.
